Sami Laine

Partner

Sami Laine heads the firm’s environment practice group. In addition to the environmental matters, Mr Laine specialises in corporate and M&A transactions. He regularly advises multinational and domestic clients on various environmental matters, including evaluating environmental liabilities, advising on environmental laws and regulatory matters (such as chemicals regulation, environmental permits and waste related issues), advising on land use issues and assisting in administrative processes related to environmental laws. As the environment practice also has a strong transaction focus, Mr Laine is regularly involved in negotiating transaction structures, indemnities and cost-sharing arrangements to allocate or mitigate environmental risks.
