Krogerus advises Nordic Ren-Gas on Allianz's investment in the company

Krogerus advised Nordic Ren-Gas Oy on the transaction whereby Allianz Capital Partners acquired a minority stake in the company. Allianz Capital Partners will provide funding of EUR 25 million to Nordic Ren-Gas to support their goal to develop a decentralized power-to-gas portfolio. The portfolio is the first in Finland with potential to be expanded wider in Europe.

With five ongoing industrial size projects with local Finnish energy utilities, Nordic Ren-Gas has a strong position in the green hydrogen market. Allianz Group is one of the leading integrated financial services providers worldwide, and Allianz Capital Partners is one of Allianz Group's asset managers for alternative equity investments.
