Krogerus advised Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy on its acquisition of the entire share capital of KHY Suomen Musiikki Oy, an independent Finnish record company. KHY Suomen Musiikki's recorded music catalogue comprises more than 1,800 tracks and 150 albums.
Sony Music Finland is part of Sony Music Entertainment and works with a broad roster of domestic and international artists. In addition to recorded music, its activities include artist services, brand partnerships, synchronisation and live entertainment. The acquisition strengthens Sony Music Finland's catalogue with a significant and diverse collection of Finnish music spanning more than two decades.
The Krogerus team was led by Partners Pessi Honkasalo and Sami Martola, who were primarily assisted by Senior Associate Laura Oiva and Associate Aleksi Kärnä.
