Kirsi Kannaste specialises in commercial dispute resolution with a particular focus on international arbitration and competition litigation. Ms Kannaste's arbitration experience includes cases heard under the arbitration rules of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the Finland Chamber of Commerce and ad hoc arbitration disputes litigated under the rules of the Finnish Arbitration Act. Ms Kannaste has acted as secretary and chair of the Young Arbitration Club Finland and frequently lectures on dispute resolution topics. Ms Kannaste is an approved mediator for the Finnish Bar Association.
Ms Kannaste also advises international and domestic clients also in connection with the competition law analysis of their business activities and in assignments heard before competition authorities and the Finnish Market Court. Ms Kannaste's sector specific focus lies in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals market. She serves as the co-head of our healthcare and pharmaceuticals team. Ms Kannaste has worked on secondment for a leading law firm in New York City.
Ms Kannaste is currently on leave of absence.
