Krogerus advises Nobina Care on its acquisition of TransEdu

Krogerus advised Nobina Care, a part of the Nobina Group, on its acquisition of TransEdu, a leading provider of care and special transport services in the Helsinki region. With this acquisition, Nobina Care formally enters the Finnish market for care and service transport. Nobina is the largest public transport company in the Nordic region.

The acquisition is aligned with Nobina’s strategic ambition to expand and develop care and service transport across the Nordic countries. TransEdu is currently the largest dedicated provider of care and service transport in Finland, employing close to 100 people and operating a fleet of 100 vehicles. The company offers a broad range of services including school and special transport, as well as driver training in the Helsinki area.

The Krogerus team was led by Partner Annika Schauman and she was primarily assisted by Senior Associate Annika Mattila and Associates Tuuli Merikallio, Santeri Jääskeläinen, Marko Katainen, Anni Sofia Kivi-Koskinen, Oona-Maria Kultti and Henrik Lyytikäinen.
