Krogerus advised the cities of Helsinki and Kouvola as well as the municipality of Vihti in establishing three new public private partnerships.
The projects consist of the construction of a new building for the Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute in the Myllypuro area in Helsinki, a community centre in the Valkeala area in Kouvola and a school and day care centre in the Nummela area in Vihti. Each project also covers the maintenance of the building for 20 years under a service agreement. The combined value of the contracts, signed in spring and summer 2021, is some EUR 120 million.
Our mandates consisted of drafting the service agreements as well as providing contractual and public procurement law advice.
Partner Juha Wessman led the Krogerus team. Counsel Simo Autio and Senior Associate Minna Siekkinen advised on public procurement law. Counsel Teppo Vuorela and Associate Antti Markkanen handled contractual matters.
