Krogerus advises A-klinikkasäätiö on the sale of A-klinikka Oy to Attendo

Krogerus advised A-klinikkasäätiö on the sale of its subsidiary A-klinikka Oy to Attendo. A-klinikka Oy provides substance abuse and addiction treatment services to the well-being services counties and the city of Helsinki. The transaction strengthens A-klinikkasäätiö's opportunities to focus on its public service mission as an expert on addiction. The foundation will continue its work in research, support services, advocacy, and development to build solutions to address addictions and other phenomena currently challenging Finnish society.

A-klinikka Oy currently employs 300 social and health care professionals, and its substance abuse and addiction services provide 70,000 treatment days annually. The transaction is subject to approval by the competition authority. A-klinikka Oy's operations will continue as usual.
