Funds team continues record year as Krogerus advises Voima Ventures on the formation of Voima Ventures Fund II

Krogerus advised Voima Ventures, a team focusing on helping founders accelerate the growth of deep technology ventures to global markets, on the formation of Voima Ventures Fund II. The fund held its initial closing in May 2019 with EUR 40 million in commitments. Krogerus advised on all matters relating to the formation.

Following the formation of five other private funds by the team, the formation of the new Voima Ventures fund marks the continuation of a record year at Krogerus' funds practice.

Partner Pyry Somervuori led the team and he was mainly assisted by associate Joonas Parkkinen. Senior associate Paul Raade and associate Joel Kanervo advised on financial regulatory matters. Partner Antti Lehtimaja led the advice on tax matters and he was assisted by senior associate Sanna Lindqvist.
