Krogerus is advising Sponda Plc on its EUR 220 million rights offering. The proceeds will be used for the partial repayment of a bridge loan raised for the acquisition of the shares in Ab Mercator Oy, which owns in total six prime-properties in the Forum block in Helsinki, and the shares in Ab Forum Capital Oy, which manages the properties in question.
Danske Bank A/S, Helsinki Branch acts as the Sole Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner and UBS Limited acts as the Joint Bookrunner.
Sponda Plc is a property investment company specialising in commercial properties in the largest cities in Finland. The fair value of Sponda’s investment properties is approximately EUR 3.7 billion and the leasable area is around 1.9 million square metres.
