Krogerus promotes two new partners

Leena Lindberg and Antti Lehtimaja have been promoted to partnership as of 1 April 2012.

Leena Lindberg’s principal areas of practice are Competition and Regulatoryand Energy and Infrastructure.
She co-heads the Competition and Regulatory practice group which has grown into a leading competition law practice in Finland serving Finnish blue chip companies as clients. Before joining Krogerus at the end of 2010, Leena Lindberg gained several years of experience at the Finnish Competition Authority, where she was a Management Group member and, among other things, in charge of the widely-publicised asphalt cartel investigation. In addition, Leena Lindberg has worked at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission.

Antti Lehtimaja has headed the tax practice at Krogerus since his recruitment in autumn 2010. He has vast experience in taxation-related matters and has become particularly well-known as an expert on tax and structuring issues in private equity and venture capital. Previously, Antti Lehtimaja has worked at the Finnish Tax Administration and at Hannes Snellman.

Krogerus’ tax practice, which focuses on transactional and corporate aspects of the field, will be strengthened further when Eija Kuivisto joins as Counsel on 19 March 2012. Eija Kuivisto, who is a renowned specialist in EU and corporate taxation, has more than two decades of tax law experience in both public and private sectors.
