Krogerus serves as Läpimurtosäätiö's pro bono adviser

Krogerus serves as pro bono adviser to Läpimurtosäätiö, a new Finnish sports support foundation whose purpose is to enable promising young Finnish athletes to make an international breakthrough. In addition to elite sports, the foundation supports actors and organisations whose goal is to create equal opportunities for Finnish children to participate in physical activity, and thereby to make a breakthrough in their own lives. The foundation was founded in 2022, and the first grants were distributed in the summer of 2023. The foundation's initial capital is €3 million, and the aim is to increase it to €30 million with the help of donations.

Krogerus has advised on the establishment of the foundation and continues to support the foundation on its day-to-day governance matters. Krogerus has also assisted the foundation with various tax and contractual matters.

"Krogerus has had the honour of being a partner in the foundation's journey from the very beginning. Personally, I have found it very rewarding to utilise my experience in foundation law to help establish an organisation with such a vital mission", says Krogerus' Counsel Valle-Veikko Eronen.
