Krogerus represented Digia in tax litigation regarding VAT exempted financial services

Krogerus successfully represented Digia in tax litigation regarding value added tax treatment of certain services for the management of special investment funds. Digia initially won the case in advance ruling proceedings and subsequently in Helsinki Administrative Court. The case outlines the limits for application of the decision issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union in case C‑231/19 (Blackrock) in Finland. The ruling by the Administrative Court is final.
