Krogerus advises Terrafame on the divestment of its internal electricity network
Krogerus advised Terrafame on the divestment of its high and medium voltage electrical grid assets forming Terrafame's internal electricity network in the Sotkamo industrial site to Aurora Infrastructure Oy. The arrangement frees up capital for growth investments related to the implementation of the company’s strategy, including announced LEACHMAX investment programme to expand its primary leaching area. Terrafame will continue to operate and maintain the electricity network. Earthworks for the new primary leaching heap 5 will proceed during the summer of 2026 and will be ready for production use in early 2027.
