Krogerus advises Saari Partners on its majority investment in Doranova

Krogerus advised Saari Partners, a Finnish private equity firm, on its majority investment in Doranova, a Finnish designer of biogas technologies and developer of biogas plants. The transaction supports Doranova's long-term growth strategy and strengthens its investment capabilities for future expansion.

In Finland, the biogas sector's goal is to quadruple biogas production from the current level of approximately one terawatt-hour to four terawatt-hours by 2030. The need for domestic plant expertise is growing as domestic demand for biogas increases, driven by the energy transition and security of supply.

The Krogerus team was led by Partner Antti Luhtala and he was primarily assisted by Senior Associate Tuuli Merikallio Heiskanen and Associates Emma Kiviniemi, Teemu Huhtala, Ella Karppanen and Julius Korhonen.
