Krogerus advises a consortium of Finnish utilities on the acquisition of two wind farms

Krogerus advised a consortium comprising Oulun Energia, Kokkolan Energia, Imatran Seudun Sähkö, Oulun Seudun Sähkö, and Haukiputaan Sähköosuuskunta on the acquisition of the Storbacken wind farm in Vöyri and the Kröpuln wind farm in Uusikaarlepyy.

The aggregate capacity of the operational wind farms is 60 MW, and both were taken into commercial operation in 2021. The wind farms were acquired from Infracapital, the infrastructure investment arm of M&G.

The Krogerus team was led by Partner Sami Laine and he was primarily assisted by Senior Associate Sonja Sivén and Associates Toni Kastell and Henrik Haijanen.
