Krogerus advises Thomas Cook Northern Europe on the divestment of Ving Group

Krogerus acts as Finnish counsel for Thomas Cook Northern Europe, the Nordic arm of travel agent Thomas Cook, on its divestment of the Nordic travel agencies Ving, Globetrotter, Spies, Tjäreborg, carrier Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and a number of hotel brands, to Petter Stordalen’s Strawberry Group, Altor and TDR Capital. The divested group, also known as Ving Group, employs some 2,300 people.

The Krogerus team was led by partner Jan Johanson, who was mainly assisted by associate Ella Soldan.
