Krogerus advised the sellers on Facebook’s acquisition of Finland-based ProtoGeo Oy. The transaction value is undisclosed.
ProtoGeo is a software company founded in 2012 that sells an application called Moves. The application passively tracks a user’s daily activity with a phone’s built-in accelerometer in order to provide all-day tracking without decreasing the phone’s battery.
The Krogerus team, led by managing partner Juha Pekka Katainen, included counsel Jan Johanson, senior associate Carola Möller and associate Joakim Jansson.
