Krogerus advises Skanska on the sale of its Finnish headquarters to Germany-based Union Investment

Krogerus advised Skanska Commercial Development Finland Oy on the sale of Skanska’s Finnish headquarters, located in Helsinki, to the global, Germany-based real estate investment company Union Investment. The building received the highest, platinum-level Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification in January 2013. The sales price was approximately EUR 32 million.

Skanska is one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups. In 2012, its revenue totalled over EUR 15 billion. The shares of the parent company, Skanska AB, are traded on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.

Union Investment is one of Europe’s leading asset managers for private and institutional clients. It manages assets of EUR 21.3 billion in fourteen real estate funds.
