Krogerus advised Biohit Oyj in setting up a joint venture company in the city of Hefei, which is located in the Chinese province of Anhui. The name of the company is Biohit Biotech (Hefei) Co., Ltd. The Chinese partner to the joint venture is Anhui Wisdom-Win Investment Co., Ltd.
The joint venture will manufacture and sell GastroPanel gastric disorder screening kits to the Chinese market. The regulatory approvals are pending and are expected to be finalised during 2014.
