Krogerus advises SOK Corporation on its 60% divestment of Hankkija-Maatalous to the DLA Group of Denmark

Krogerus advised SOK Corporation on its 60% divestment of the shares in Hankkija-Maatalous Oy to DLA International Holding A/S, a subsidiary of the DLA Group of Denmark.

Hankkija-Maatalous is Finland’s biggest agribusiness. It employs approximately 900 persons and has annual revenue of close to EUR 1 billion.

The DLA Group co-ordinates wholesale trading activities for 32 co-operative and privately owned raw materials companies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Baltic States. It employs approximately 2,700 persons and has annual retail revenue of EUR 2.7 billion.

The Krogerus team was led by partner Kimmo Mettälä. Partner Sami Laine advised on real estate and intellectual property matters, partner Katri Joenpolvi gave competition law advice and associate Pessi Honkasalo provided assistance in the transaction.
