Krogerus advises Ovako on its acquisition of steel and metals distributor Tibnor from SSAB

Krogerus advised Ovako AB (publ) on its acquisition of Tibnor Oy from SSAB AB (publ). Tibnor purchases, warehouses, processes and distributes steel and other metals for the engineering, process and construction industries. The company has approximately 50 employees and sales in 2014 were EUR 67.3 million.

Ovako is a producer of engineering steel for customers in the bearing, transportation and manufacturing industries. Ovako is headquartered in Sweden and is represented in more than 30 countries.

Marcus Möller led the Krogerus team. He was primarily assisted by senior associate Joakim Jansson and associates Laura Laukkanen and Suvi Tervahartiala. Leena Lindberg led on merger control issues with the assistance of associates Jarno Käkelä and Tuulia Tanskanen.
