Krogerus advised OP Corporate Bank plc as lender in connection with the financing of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company's real estate portfolio, a landmark transaction following the Finnish pension reform that entered into force on 1 July 2026. Under the new legislative framework, pension insurance companies have greater flexibility to utilise debt financing within their real estate portfolios.
