Krogerus advised Ilmatar Energy on its acquisition of the project rights for the Korpilevonmäki wind farm in Finland. The wind farm is planned to be built in the Korpilevonmäki area of Säkylä. The construction of the project is expected to start by the end of 2022 and, once completed, the wind farm, with a total of seven wind turbines, produces new clean energy to Finland’s national grid with a nominal capacity of about 42 MW. The annual reduction of emissions brought by the new wind farm would correspond to CO2 emissions caused by 80 million kilometres of motoring.
The Krogerus team was led by Partner Ville Hailikari. He was assisted by Associates Jani-Pekka Jussila and Linda Härkönen.
