Sarita Schröder serves as co-head of the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. She specialises in intellectual property, marketing and consumer law with a particular focus on litigation and other contentious matters in these fields. Ms Schröder has represented clients in a number of notable disputes involving claims of trademark and trade dress infringement, misappropriation of goodwill, as well as false and misleading advertising. She regularly handles mandates with a cross-border or multijurisdictional nature.
In addition to contentious matters, Ms Schröder provides clients with strategic legal advice in relation to trademark portfolio management, as well as the planning and execution of product launches and marketing campaigns. Ms Schröder has previously worked as an in-house legal counsel for a major Finnish telecommunications company, where she was responsible for brand and marketing related legal affairs.
