Krogerus is highly recommended in an annual Global Competition Review publication

Krogerus is ranked as a ‘Highly Recommended’ law firm in the 13th Edition (2013) of the GCR 100, a guide to the world’s leading competition law and economics practices. GCR 100 is produced by the Global Competition Review, a respected antitrust and competition law journal and news service.

GCR 100 notes that the firm’s Competition team represents a number of municipalities and the state forest enterprise Metsähallitus as plaintiffs in the widely-publicised raw timber damages claim lawsuit.

Other assignments highlighted by GCR 100 include advising several regional energy companies in an investigation by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority on district heating prices, which was closed without any infringement finding, as well as creating and revising compliance programmes for Cargotec, Sanitec, DNA and other clients.

GCR 100 also commends Krogerus for its “strong expertise on state aid matters”.

The Krogerus Competition practice is headed by Katri Joenpolvi and co-headed by Leena Lindberg. The team also includes partners Petteri Metsä-Tokila and Marja-Liisa Järvinen, three counsel, two senior associates and three associates.
