Krogerus' intellectual property practice has once again been ranked among Finland's leading practices for trademark law in the 2018 edition of WTR 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals.
With Silver band rankings in the enforcement and litigation as well as the prosecution and strategy categories, clients compliment Krogerus as a "full-service firm with very strong IP and IT practices; in fact, it is one of the best in these fields and you can totally rely on its assistance."
The team is praised for its vast expertise and business understanding: "Its IP lawyers are quality operators who have broad legal backgrounds – they understand not only trademark law, but commercial law, too, which is great for a multinational company.”
In the individual rankings, IP practice co-head Sarita Schröder is recognised in the bronze band. She is noted for running the trademark practice with "utmost proficiency", and is praised for her approach: "As a result of her in-house experience, she has developed a practical and business-oriented way of doing things."
A special mention is given to the firm's strong involvement in "headline-hitting litigation", where the team has "remained at the forefront of important cases over the past year." The publication also notes Krogerus as being one of the first commercial law firms in Finland to set up a prosecution practice, "which continues to flourish."
