“Being a part of Krogerus’ story has been a great adventure.”

When I applied to Krogerus, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I didn't know anything about Krogerus, how it was to work in a law firm nor about the business itself — I was basically a newbie. When I received a call from Krogerus with an offer to work in two different departments as a trainee, I decided to take a chance and try it out. I was in the beginning of my career and felt that I didn't have anything to lose, so I kept an open mind and tried something new and different. Needless to say, it was a great choice for my career path.

I started as an Assistant Trainee in our conference services while simultaneously training to become a Legal Assistant. I ended up being more interested in the business itself and soon started as a full-time Legal Assistant. After gaining more experience, I was offered a new challenge to assist our Managing Partner. I wasn't sure if I was ready for it, but I gave it a shot, humbled for the opportunity. I had to get out of my comfort zone to learn new things and gain more experience. And that I did indeed. Today, I work as a Finance Co-ordinator.

The best thing about my job is that I get to use the knowledge that I have gained since I've started, which helps me to understand the business further, more and more every day. Being able to be creative and solve problems keeps me motivated for anything that might arise around the corner. The role of a support professional here allows me to see what is happening behind the scenes of a leading law firm and the assignments that we've been a part of.

I'm grateful for the people at Krogerus who have seen my potential and given me the opportunity to learn and grow. Being a part of Krogerus’ success has been a great adventure. I’m inspired by the firm's success story and the people I get to be around. We have both amazing individuals and teams who I am proud to work with. I feel the most inspired when my work has made a difference.
